Vincent named development services director

Darlington School has named Vicki S. Vincent as director of development services. Vincent has worked in Darlington’s development office for four years, managing support staff and coordinating fundraising and alumni relations projects.

As director of development services, Vincent is responsible for internal support for all aspects of Darlington’s alumni and fundraising activities and also for the day-to-day operation of the development office.

Vincent is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She has extensive experience in the financial industry, having worked for brokerage and banking firms. She worked as a development consultant for independent schools in metro Atlanta prior to joining the staff at Darlington.

She is active in her church, Cedartown First United Methodist, as a Sunday school teacher and committee member. Vincent is co-founder of the Cedartown Friends of the Library and is currently vice president and treasurer. She and her husband, Jim, have three daughters.
