Varsity Volleyball sweeps Rome and Chattooga

The Darlington varsity volleyball team swept a double-header last night at the Huffman Center. They began the night by defeating Chattooga 2-0 by the scores of 25-14 and 25-4. They followed that with a win over cross-town rival Rome. The score was also 2-0; 25-7 and 25-14. Carrie Simon’s 9 kills and Bailey Brock’s 22 assists led the Lady Tigers. Anna Kate Dulaney added 6 kills with 42 percent efficiency. Camille Temples was the team’s top server with 100 percent efficiency, and 4 aces out of 13 serves in. The Lady Tigers improved their record to 11-6 on the year and have a week off before their next match.
