Varsity scholar bowl team completes perfect season

After winning sub-region, the varsity scholar bowl team went on to beat Rome High School for the fourth time in the Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) Northwest Regional Finals. The team also participated in the Berry Invitational where it won the majority of its matches but was eliminated in the afternoon.
Team standouts were captain Padrick Dennis, Garrett Manis, and William Krueger, seniors; Drew Parker and Ritchie Haygood, juniors; and Payton Bradford and Nasir Fakhri, sophomores, led by coaches Craig Schmidt, history department chair, and George Awsumb, Upper School faculty member.
