Using Comics to Promote Awareness About Hunger

Mrs. Overberg's 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Multimedia Production students used the popular application Bitstrips to create comics that draw awareness to the serious problem of hunger in our community.
"Hunger" is the ELA-8th grade division's service topic for the months of October and November. Students in ELA-8th grade have also donated food, packed food bags for local children, and worked shifts in our local soup kitchen.
