Upper School: Temperature Check Update
By Chad Woods - Faculty
Dear Upper School families,
Our students have accepted the guidelines put into place for keeping everyone safe so that we can continue to be on campus with in-person classes.
As we transition to colder weather, that will require students to spend more time indoors. Please continue to monitor your students at home. If they are symptomatic, we are asking you to keep them home and contact Denise Evans in the Student Life Office at 706-236-0435.
With the cold mornings already here and colder mornings approaching, we are making a small change in our daily temperature checks. Students will no longer be checked before entering the dining hall for breakfast. We are getting inaccurate readings with students coming inside from the cold. We will continue to monitor students’ health through temperature checks at the beginning of first period each day or with Mrs. Evans if they do not have a first period class.
Thank you!
Chad Woods
