Two named to All-Area Soccer Team

Two varsity soccer players have been named to the Rome News-Tribune All-Area Team.
Anna Shea scored over 20 goals for the Lady Tigers as midfielder. The rising senior has already committed to playing at Furman. She has also participated in the Georgia Olympic Development Program. Anna is the daughter of Janice and Tom Shea of Rome.
Connor McWhorter ('10) was a senior team captain and center midfielder. He is part of the No 3-ranked club team in the nation and has also participated in the Georgia Olympic Development Program. Connor is the son of Gina and Brian McWhorter of Rome.
Sydney Greene, Allie Duckworth, Owen Greeson and Evan Echols received Honorable Mentions.
