Two honors societies induct new members

Darlington School’s science and math honor societies inducted new members during a ceremony held Monday, March 30 in Morris Chapel.
To be inducted into Gamma Chi Epsilon Science National Honor Society, seniors must be a member of the Georgia Junior Academy of Science; be in the top 20 percent of their graduating class; have successfully completed at least three science courses and be enrolled in a fourth; and be in good standing with Darlington School. Inductees included Kathryn Aldrich, Dylan Baker, Isabel Bonnyman, Rachel Buckle, Zongyu Cao, Spencer Carroll, Anisha Chandra, Lyn Chen, Zi Yang Chen, Alexandra Dodd, Matthew Glover, Ben Goldberg, Lauren Hampton, Cleve Jackson, Meng Limpornpipat, Katie Mullen, Thuy Nguyen, Jin Woo Park, Monique Picon, Patrick Pierson, Jett Wayne Puckett, Laura Rhoades, Taylor Richardson, Tsan-Ting Shen and Eric Wetherington.
To be inducted into Mu Alpha Theta Math National Honor Society, students must be currently enrolled in Pre-Calculus and have a minimum 94 average in all math courses taken. Only seniors may be inducted during their first year at Darlington. Inductees included Brody Anderson, Jaclyn Brass, Kidd Cao, Hoo Joon Chang, Bob Chen, Lyn Chen, Tylon Garrett, Frederick Gu, Mark Huang, Napassawan Kanskulthorn, Jaemin Lee, Hee-yeon Lim, Meng Limpornpipat, Brian Liu, Ryan Major, Monique Picon, Molly Safigan, Sang Woo Shin, Evan Smallwood, Irene Tae, Martha Tucker and A.J. White.
