Transforming Lives Through Opportunity
By Joe Montgomery - FF/S
Since I began working at Darlington School in 2004, I have had the pleasure of visiting with hundreds of alumni and friends who credit this school and the people here with transforming their lives. Darlington has made an indelible impact on generations of men and women for over 100 years – my own children included – and the Second Century Campaign seeks to build our financial aid endowment so that we may to offer this transformative experience to any academically qualified student regardless of socioeconomic status.
Darlington is committed to continually strengthening its student body by admitting high-caliber students and by fostering an atmosphere of diversity and inclusivity. But the truth is, some of the most academically gifted students simply cannot afford to pay the full cost of an independent school education. By increasing our endowment funding for this purpose, Darlington will be able to provide greater financial aid opportunities to deserving students, which will – in turn – strengthen the educational experience for the entire school community.
