Track and Field: Darlington shines in distance events at Floyd County meet

The Tigers made great strides in the distance events, including boys: first place in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs; and girls: first and second in the 1,600-meter run and first in 800-meter run.

 

Darlington’s boys also took first place in discus and runner-up in sprints, as the Lady Tigers pounced to take first place in pole vault, discus and in long jump. 

Darlington joins Armuchee, Coosa and Model in the Region 7-AA meet at Pepperell on Friday.
