Darlington is very fortunate to have many amazing volunteers who serve in every capacity on campus. Each volunteer makes a difference!

If you are a parent, alum or even a faculty member looking for a place to plug in at Darlington, you are in luck! Right now, we are looking for more volunteers for our Annual Fund Phonathons. The Annual Fund is the school’s No. 1 fundraising priority because it supports 5% of every program here at Darlington, and we are incredibly appreciative of the people who volunteer their time to make our phonathons so successful.

If you’ve never been to a phonathon before and you aren’t sure what to expect, don’t worry! Development staff members and veteran callers are always on hand to support you and show you how it’s done.

Need a reason to attend? We'll give you 10!

  1. Hang out with parents and alumni who are dedicated to supporting the school we all love!
  2. You don’t have to cook dinner! We’ll bring the food and drinks!
  3. Watch our students play sports from the best view (the Huffman Center Yancey Suite!)
  4. Connect with other Tigers on the phone!
  5. Meet your friendly Development Office!
  6. Support Darlington in a FUN way!
  7. Win prizes!
  8. What else do you have to do on a Tuesday night?!
  9. Make a direct impact on current Darlington students and faculty members
  10. See a master at work – watch four-time Annual Fund Chairman Steve Wilhoite ('73) work the phones!
We hope you will join us at one of our fall phonathons listed below. Please email Caroline Clark ('06) at cclark@darlingtonschool.org if you are interested!
