Three named Academic All-Americans in girls' lacrosse

Three members of the girls' varsity lacrosse team were named Academic All-Americans.
Bailey Brock, a rising senior, has played lacrosse for three years and has lettered each year. A midfielder, she scored 30 goals and had six assists. She received the Coaches Award for 2012. She is the daughter of Dawn and Harry Brock of Rome.
Anna Grace Rutledge ('12) played lacrosse at Darlington for four years and lettered three years. A midfielder and team captain this spring, she scored 25 goals and had 33 ground balls. She was the Scholar-Athlete in 2011 and 2012, and was also named Most Valuable Player in 2012. She is the daughter of Carol and Ralph Rutledge of Rome.
Mary Lyn Stegall, a rising senior, has played lacrosse for two years and is a two-year letterman. She plays defense and had 42 ground balls this season. She went from being named Most Improved in 2011 to being Best Defensive Player in 2012. She is the daughter of Angie and Jo Stegall of Rome.
