Third-grader wins Spelling Bee

Forty students in grades 3 and 4 competed in the Lower School's annual Spelling Bee on Feb. 4. 

After four rounds, third-grader William Zimmer was named the winner after correctly spelling “psychoanalyst.” Second place went to Anna Kate Roberts, third place to Kathryne Ledbetter, and the runner-up was Rhett McDurmon.

 

Eight top spellers will represent Darlington at the Independent School Spelling Bee Feb. 25 at Excel Christian School in Cartersville.
