Teen musician organizing benefit concert downtown

The event, called "Music With a Mission" will take place April 17 at 5 p.m. at Johnny's Pizza. It will feature area musicians including Scott Thompson and Ben McCree; Jay Shell and Chris Austin from Kneckdown; Russell McClanahan; Jon Byrd; and Emily herself, who studies guitar with MusikWorks’ Ben McCree.
