The Pre-Kindergarten class attended the wedding of the letters Q and U on Feb. 23, in the Lower School’s Tiger Hall. This decision came about when the class studied the letter Q and realized that U always follows Q in all words like quit, quiet, and question. They decided to have a wedding to marry the two life long friends. All of the letters of the alphabet were invited and were carried by the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and guests attending.
Mark Tayloe, Lower School Principal, officiated and Q and U took vows to stand beside each other always in words with U letting Q be first every time. They also vowed they would always say the "qww" sound. Of course, they said, “I do,” and were joined right there! The reception was held for them after the wedding complete with wedding cake, wedding cookies, and punch.
