Student club makes an impact on community

Each year, students of all backgrounds join IMPACT (Inspiring Minds to Promote Appreciation of Cultures Together). Their goal is to educate and support students and faculty in their efforts to encourage harmony and diversity.
In Dec., members held a bake sale and raised $102.87 to give to a charity of their choice in January. In addition to participating in discussions about discord relating to racial, ethnic, religious, and personal diversity, members participate in Rome’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day March and conduct the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial chapel service each year.
