Student-athletes recognized at Winter Sports Assembly

Outstanding athletes in varsity basketball, swim/dive, and wrestling were recognized at the Winter Sports Assembly on Monday, Feb. 28, in Morris Chapel.

Girls' Basketball:

Junior Belle Brooks of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award.

Senior Sarah Tunnell of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award and Pillar Award.

Senior Emmaline Ratledge of Rome, Ga. and junior JyJy Johnson of Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Juniors Georgeanna Dempsey of Rome, Ga. and Elizabeth Boyd of Prospect, Kentucky received the Pillar Award.

Boys' Basketball:

Junior Braden Bell of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award.

Senior Patrick Shelley of Adairsville, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior DJ Johnson of Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 

Girls' Swim/Dive:

Junior Addison Payne of Acworth, Ga. received the Academic Award. 

Sophomore Maya Pandya of Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior Anne Marie Wright of Macon, Ga. received the Coaches' Award. 

Boys' Swim/Dive:
