Stucco benefits Red Cross

Red, white, and blue blanketed the Middle School, Friday, Sept. 14, while students wished they could blanket the victims of the September 11 attack on America with more than their love and concerns. So the students and the School did something about their desires. They held a Stucco Day (a day when students are not required to adhere to the dress code) to raise money for the American Red Cross to benefit the victims. They raised more than $300 –a feat considering stucco participation cost $1 per person and there are less than 200 students enrolled at the School.

Many of the participants wore red, white, and blue as a sign of remembrance. Also, during the day, a national day of mourning, students and faculty members joined in a national moment of silence.
