State Track Individual Results

After clinching the Region 6-A title, the girls track team finished the season fifth in the state Saturday, May 16, at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany. Ana Monroe Fitzner won the 800 meter title. Jordan Bray earned fifth place in the 800 meter race, Lindsay Harbin came in second in 3200 meter race, Beth Mooney came in sixth in the long jump, and Mary Foss took seventh in the hurdles.
The boys track team, which earned second in the region, was led by Chris Presley at the state meet Saturday, May 8, in Jefferson. Presley ran the fastest time of all classifications in the 400 meter race (48.17).
