Staff Joins Development, Communications

Darlington School is pleased to welcome the following people to the development and communications departments.
Karen Rieley joins the communications office as the director of communications from the Bolles School, Jacksonville, Fla., where she served as the director of communications. Rieley has extensive experience in public relations, fundraising, communications, marketing, and management for not-for-profit organizations. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Va.
Wendy Watterson is now with the development office as the gift officer for reunion giving. Watterson earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn. In 1999, she was selected as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar and traveled to Brisbane, Australia to attend the University of Queensland for postgraduate studies.
Lisa Lembo joins the development office as the Atlanta advancement representative. She earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications from the College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C. Lembo was employed as a marketing coordinator and product manager at Invesco’s Institutional Trust Company.
Mary Norton will be Darlington’s gift officer for annual giving. Norton has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas, Fayettville, Ark., and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland, College Park, Md. Her work history includes vast experience in the healthcare industry, including employment as an assistant to the director of undergraduate medical education at the University of California, Fresno, Ca., and work as an independent consultant.
Vicki Vincent is returning to Darlington as the development office manager. From 1995-1996, Vincent worked on the development staff. During the period that she has been away, she has been occupied as an independent consultant and a community volunteer. Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, Athens, Ga.
