Plans and rehearsals are underway for the Spring Musical Theater Variety Show scheduled to hit the stage on Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m. in the Zelle Drama Room. This performance will feature the Upper School drama class and individual students. There will perform ensembles presenting selections from the following musicals: My Fair Lady, Paint Your Wagon, Carbaret, Oklahoma, Cinderella, Aida, Guys and Dolls, Flower Drum Song, Cats, Rent, Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Godspell, Pippin, and Beauty and the Beast. The show is free and open to the public.

Songs of the People will be performed on Sunday, May 5, at 4 p.m. in the Morris Chapel. The concert will feature folk songs and spirituals performed by the Concert Choir, Ladies' and Men's Chorale. Selections will include Cindy, Three Mountain Ballads, Welsh Lullaby, My Shepherd Will Supply My Need, Shut De Do, Turn The World Around, De Animals A-Comin', Sea Fever, and Clancy Lowered the Boom, just to name a few. “This concert will prove to be a most enjoyable performance for the entire family,” said Dan Bishop, fine arts department interim chair and choral director.
