The following Darlington students received awards during the spring sports assembly May 8:
John Maddox Memorial Trophy (spirit and performance in track and field): Kirby Cross, Jonathan Glen
Malcolm Lenwood Foster Jr. Trophy (excellence in track and field): Ben Ayer
James Enfield Berry Memorial Trophy (spirit and leadership in track and field): Justin Albury
Team Spirit Award Girls Track: Joyce Sweeney
James Jeffrey Gaither Award (persistence and dedication in track): Charlotte Baker
Jack Barkell Award (golfer with the lowest average score): Patrick McShane, Jenny Morris
Lanny Pinkard Memorial Trophy (most improved golfer): Sanders Wallis, Andrea Cole
Hustler Award for Baseball: Ben Summerall
Batting Championship Trophy (highest batting average for season): Ben Bevill
Harry L. Boss Sr. Memorial Award (best varsity baseball player): Ben Bevill
