Spanish Teacher Joins Faculty

Barbara Barfield, who will teach Spanish at the Lower School this year, earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Georgia State University and her master’s degree in education from Berry College. Her background includes teaching Spanish at Berry Elementary School; court interpreting with the City of Rome Court; and co-owning a catering business. Barfield’s son, Christopher, is a rising fifth-grader at the Lower School.
