Softball Regular Season Closes

The varsity girls softball team will compete in region tournaments at Temple, in Heard County, Tuesday, Sept. 28. They completed the regular season with a 2-10 record, beating Excel Christian Academy and Cartersville.
“They play with pride and enthusiasm. Two of our seniors, Amanda Bevill and Rebecca Griffin, have contributed to the program for a number of years,” softball coach Gus Bell said. This is also the final season for seniors Marwa Kharsa, Annalee Gammage, Savannah Mills, Tiffani Nowiki, and Page Van Cise.
The JV girls softball team completed their season with a 2-2 record. They won and lost to both of their competitors, Calhoun and Temple.
