Softball Defeats North Cobb Christian

The Lady Tiger softball team defeated North Cobb Christian Thursday night by a score of 4-3. This brought the girls’ Region record to 3-2 and they stand at 5-3 overall.

Terar Stewart had two hits including the game-winning RBI. Emily Thurmond started off the evening with a 2-run home run in the first inning. Hannah Mae Deems had two hits and Mary Grace Denson had a double.

Emily Swafford pitched a complete game and added an RBI single. She allowed 3 unearned runs and 10 hits with 2 walks and 4 strike-outs.

Darlington currently stands 2nd in their half of Region 6-A. They are back in action next Tuesday night, September 13, at Excel Christian.
