Sodipo named October Student of the Month

Senior Dara Sodipo has been named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for October. 

A boarding student in her second year at Darlington, Sodipo is secretary of the French Club; advertising editor for the Jabberwokk yearbook; and a member of the tennis team, Societe Honoraire de Francais, Young Democrats, and the Big Little Sister program. She also serves on the Servant Leadership Committee, the Honor Council, Admission Tiger Experts and as a prefect. She also received the 11th Grade Class Citizenship Award last year.

The daughter of Funlola Akiode of Abuja, Nigeria, Dara was honored at an Optimist Club luncheon Oct. 16.
