Soccer Teams Fall in Playoffs

Boys Soccer
After completing the regular season with an 11-1 record, the boys varsity soccer team won its first region playoff match 6-0 against Villa Rica, Tuesday, April 20. The team then beat Calhoun 4-0 in the second playoff round Friday, April 23, clinching the region championship.
The Tigers hosted the first round of the state tournament Tuesday, April 27, but lost 3-2 to Druid Hills. The team com-pleted the season with a 10-0 region record, 13-2 overall.
Girls Soccer
After defeating Mt. Paran 5-0 in the first round of Area 5 AA/A playoffs, Tuesday April 20, the girls varsity soccer team fell to Walker 6-2 in the second round Friday, April 23, finishing second in the region. The team completed the season 13-2-3, after losing to St. Pius 9-0 in the first round of the state playoffs Tuesday, April 27.
