Soccer teams advance to State playoffs

Third-seeded Darlington avenged a previous loss to Calhoun’s girls soccer team on April 20 with a 3-2 win in the Area 6-AA/A Tournament semifinals at Calhoun to finish the season in second place. The win earned the girls team a berth in the Class AA/A state playoffs, a success the boys soccer team earned as well.
