Soccer Academy Qualifies for Prestigious Disney Showcase

"Astonishing... Rewarding... Fulfilling... These are just a few words that crossed my mind as I walked across the field to congratulate my son, Alex '(07) and his teammates for Qualifying for Disney's Showcase," said parent, Chris Milhous, of alumnus Alex Milhous '07 in September of 2006 after the 2006-07 Academy team Qualified for the December Showcase.
These are the same emotions and words our current 2012 and 2013 class of parents and players are feeling right now after fulfilling a goal to qualify for the prestigious Disney Showcase in December. The Darlington School Soccer Academy U18 Boys had to play and beat 4 teams ranked in the top 75 nationally to reach the finals at the Labor Day Tournament. Our Academy boys were the only U18 team to not give up a goal during the first three games of group play.
During Christmas break, from Dec. 25-30, our U18 Boys will be competing in front of over 500 college coaches and alongside U.S. Soccer's National Team as well as the top professional youth academies around the world. In years past, clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid have been represented. Every major college program will have coaches attending this event!
