Six participate in Honors Chorus

Six Lower School students participated in the Seventh District Honors Chorus concert Nov. 14 at First Baptist Church of Rome.
This annual even brings together students from schools in the Seventh Congressional District for a day of choral training with well known children’s choir clinicians. The day culminates with a concert for friends and parents.
Shivani Amar, Bethany Cagle, Sammi Harton, Sarah Cait Hubbard, Chandler Johnson and Emily Thurman represented the Lower School.
“This is a wonderful musical opportunity for our students," said Diane Lumpkin, assistant director of Lower School and music instructor. "It is always a highlight of the year to spend the day with our students as they strive for excellence in choral music."
