Seven Darlington students competed in IronKids Alpharetta on Sunday with four qualifying for IronKids Nationals. IronKids events are the largest youth triathlons in the country.

"I think hosting the Tri for the Kids youth triathlon at Darlington each spring has allowed us to build a following within our community for the sport of triathlon," said Beth Smith ('87), pre-K teacher and founder of Tri for the Kids. "I am proud to see students at Darlington embracing the sport. It is great to know that we have achieved our initial goal of getting kids to think outside the box, get off the couch, go outside and do something they never thought could be possible."

Below are the results of the Darlington students:
Will Bagby - 63/131, 2nd grade
Clayton Bennett - 4/72, 7th grade, qualified for Nationals
