Senior wins Hampden-Sydney President's Award

Senior Ivy Duggan has earned a $60,000 President's Award from Hampden-Sydney College, one of the institution's top achievement awards.
"Ivy has shown great talent and commitment in his school career, and we look forward to that continuing at Hampden-Sydney College," said Anita Garland, dean of admissions.
Duggan has taken eight Honors and AP courses and received the Class Citizenship Award as a junior. He is a member of the varsity track and football teams and serves on the staff of the Jabberwokk student yearbook.
He is the son of Kendall and Stewart Duggan of Rome and Jill and Chris Niblett of Perry, Ga.
