Darlington School has selected sophomore Alex Palmour to represent the School in the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) seminar. Only one student per school can be nominated for this honor. She will join 285,000 HOBY participants since 1958 in learning about HOBY’s mission, "to seek out, recognize and develop leadership potential commencing with high school sophomores, and to encourage and prepare the next generation of civic and corporate leadership for America's future." The goals of the seminar include promoting critical thinking, democracy, and social responsibility.
