Darlington School will offer an SAT COURSE taught by Upper School teachers John Cox (English) and Joe Pieroni (math) May 29-31.

The course will include practicing one full SAT test, a graded essay, and lectures on how to improve techniques for taking the test. Taking the course does not guarantee an improvement in scores; however, the student will gain insight into the types of questions asked, how the test is scored, when not to guess, the directions for each section and the difficulty of concentrating for over four hours.

Cost of the course is $200, and payment in full will serve as a reservation. The class will need a minimum of 12 to be offered. The textbook, The Princeton Review: 11 Practice Tests for the New SAT, 2006 Edition, will be provided and is included in the fee. Class times are: Monday, May 29, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Tuesday, May 30, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Wednesday, May 31, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For information or to sign up, please e-mail John Cox or call him at 706-676-1557.
