Darlington’s nominee for the Governors Honor Program (GHP) for this year is junior Nikki Rucker. As a participant, Rucker has the opportunity to attend a six-week instructional program over the summer that aims to challenge intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students.

Rising juniors and seniors in Georgia, public or private high schools, are eligible for nomination by their school for the GHP. Each nominee has a specific instructional area on which they will focus. Rucker will focus her attention on science through projects, seminars, and research.
