Rise in Applications Shows Increased Interest in School

The volume of applications for admission to the Middle School has risen each year, affirming the competitiveness of Darlington’s program. "There are more families interested than we have available spots for," Lisa Schlenk, director of admission, said. "Admissions is very excited about the number of entering students. We are already receiving calls for the 2001-2002 school year."
Current families are encouraged to tell friends and neighbors considering an independent school education at Darlington for the 2001-2002 year to contact the admission office to receive literature. Darlington continues to seek candidates who are interested in a strong, academic program, who participate in the community as good citizens, and who will contribute to the life of the school.
