Region coaches recognize top runners

Darlington’s cross country teams continued on a path of success this year, with the girls bringing home their second consecutive Region 7-AA title and the boys placing fourth. These strong region finishes qualified both teams to compete at state, where the girls finished No. 6 and the boys, No. 16.

And for the first time ever, cross country coaches in Region 7-AA got together to vote on an All-Area cross country squad. Each coach placed votes for the top 10 runners, and Darlington students took six of the 20 possible spots.
