The Middle School held a presidential election open to students and faculty on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Perhaps the nation could learn something from the Middle School. Their results were completed, rapidly. According to the 184 voters, the Bush-Cheney team won the election with 73 percent of the votes. Gore/Lieberman earned 17 percent; Nader received 5 percent (write-in): Brown/Oliver acquired 4 percent of the votes; and Buchanan obtained 2 percent.
As part of civics class, students like Ford Riddle learn about the nation's presidential election process by holding a mock election.
