Pre-K to 8 July Health of the Community Update

Dear Pre-K to 8 parents,

We are working diligently to prepare for the upcoming school year. Our community of trust allows us to put in place expectations for our students, families, and faculty designed to mitigate the risk of the spread of Covid-19. As Brent Bell indicated in his earlier communication this summer, we are guided by the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, the Georgia Department of Health, and the Georgia Department of Education. 
 
I wanted to take an opportunity to provide an update on our plans and strategies moving forward as we prepare for the opening of school on Monday, Aug. 17. Please note that this communication is not comprehensive at this time. Plans, strategies, and details are continuing to be determined and will be communicated once finalized.

Online Registration is OPEN! Please upload your child’s completed Medical Form and Physical, current Immunization record, and proof of medical insurance through the Registration Parent Portal. All forms are available in the portal. If you have any questions about uploading the documents, please contact Wendy Payne in the front office of Thatcher Hall. If you have questions about logging into the Darlington website, please contact Paige Hamil.
