The School’s annual Parents Weekend on Sept. 21-22 will feature a variety of activities designed to give parents a glimpse into their child’s life at Darlington.

Friday will kick off at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and registration in Dodd Dining Room, followed by advisee meetings for students and parents at 8:30 a.m. Mini-classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, after which lunch will be served in the Dining Hall. Parent-teacher conferences will take place from 1-4 p.m.

A pre-game family picnic on Morris Chapel Lawn will begin at 5:30 p.m. Afterward everyone is invited to Chris Hunter Stadium to watch the football game (Darlington vs. Bremen). Game tickets can be purchased at the gate. At halftime, parents are invited to the Halftime at the Huff reception in the Yancey Suite of the Huffman Center.

Saturday morning, families are invited to a continental breakfast in Dodd Dining Hall from 9-9:30 a.m. Parent-teacher conferences will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch and a college meeting for senior parents in Morris Chapel at 2 p.m. Parents of underclassmen are also welcome to attend this meeting.

Reservations are required for all meals. Online registration is now available for Upper School parents at www.darlingtonschool.org/parentsweekend. If you have questions, please contact the Assistant Headmaster’s Office at 706-236-0442.
