More than half of Darlington’s day parents have responded to the call to support the School’s Annual Fund by committing $113,000 as of mid-December. “I am excited about the progress of the Day Parents Division to this point,” Chason Mull ’78, Lower and Middle School parent and division chair, said. “We are at 57 percent in day parent participation and 81 percent in dollars raised. I appreciate everyone who has given and I am very optimistic about reaching our $140,000 goal.”

Thirty-one day parent volunteers spent three nights in October phoning other parents. Their efforts produced 194 commitments totaling $57,910. The parents whom they could not reach were sent a personal letter asking for their support from Mull.
