Darlington will host its ninth annual College Fair Tuesday, Sept. 24. Representatives from over 50 colleges from around the country will be present to meet with interested students and parents. All Upper School students – freshmen through seniors – will be dismissed from classes from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to visit with the admission officers. All parents are invited as well.

“This program has been such a great success with both the students and the college reps for the last few years and we are excited about having it again in the new Huffman Center,” Associate Headmaster and Dean of College Guidance Sam Moss said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and parents to do some window shopping at colleges they are not familiar with, as well as to learn more about colleges they are already interested in. It is also a great chance for our students to make a good impression of themselves and Darlington with the admission officers.”

Previous fairs have drawn many favorable comments from our visitors. According to Moss, College representatives have been uniformly complimentary about the Darlington students they spoke with and the good impression they had of Darlington as a result of those conversations. All students and parents are urged to take advantage of this opportunity in their college planning.
