Effective Thursday, Aug. 26, the "old" exit gate at Darlington School will be closed and locked, according to Jack McCord, manager of security operations. "All vehicular traffic should exit at the Middle School or Trippeer Gate. This is a much safer exit, and will allow for better security of the campus," he said. "This means the new bridge and road behind Persons is an exit only. Please do not try to drive toward Morris Chapel from this drive. The road behind Persons and the Blaylock House is a 'one way' only." McCord added that new speed bumps and signs will soon be located in these areas and roadways. "In the meantime, please be careful when driving in these areas," he said.
