New Middle School Faculty

Former Darlington student Abigail Pels has joined the math department. Pels earned her bachelor’s degree in math at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her prior experiences include peer tutoring, dormitory counseling at Salisbury Summer School, and working as a head counselor at Camp Seafarer.
Susan Stout ’81, who earned her bachelor’s in physical education at the University of Georgia, will teach physical education. Her prior experience includes teaching pre-kindergarten at First Presbyterian Church and working as family resource coordinator with the State of Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program. She and her husband, Dwight, have two children.
Darlington honors graduate Chad Warner ’94, who earned his bachelor’s from the University of Georgia in 1998, will be the Middle School study skills instructor. Before coming to Darlington, Warner was a sales executive with Bagby Transfer Company in Rome.
