Musicians Represent Tigers in Honor Groups

The following band members have been selected to represent Darlington in the 2000 Georgia Independent Schools Association (GISA) All-Select Honor Band: Acquania Gibbs, Jason Chapman, Allen Perez, Philip Floyd, Porter Leslie, Rachel Anderson, Rory Laven, Andy Babcock, Matt Kleist, David Huguenel, Reginald Gill, Charlotte Baker, and Toby Layson.
These students will travel to Columbus, Ga. where they will rehearse and perform with the GISA All-Select Honor Band, Saturday, Nov. 4 through Monday, Nov. 6 at the Brookstone School.
Darlington choral students chosen for the GISA Choral Festival are Jamie Kleist, Elizabeth Logsdon, Hannah Rogers, and Anna Lee Williams. These performers will be attending rehearsals all day Saturday, Nov. 4 and then performing in the Springer Opera House on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. in Columbus, Ga. The choir consists of over 120 singers representing private schools from across the state of Georgia.
