Muschamp’s class sends and receives letters

In a display of gratitude, Sally Muschamp’s sixth grade English class wrote letters to Annual Fund donors as part of a grammar unit. The students shared with donors a little information about themselves as well as various activities and experiences that are available to Darlington students, in part, due to Annual Fund donations. Several of the donors wrote back to students–some even gave advice. Alumnus Joseph W. Grier ’33 shared words of wisdom, “work even harder than your teachers require you to do at Darlington. What you learn from this extra effort will serve you the balance of your life.
