Parens and students are reminded that eligibility requirements for receiving the HOPE Scholarship changed beginning with the Class of 2000. Students must have an 80 percent or better cumulative average in the following 15 core-curriculum courses: English (4), math (4), social studies (3), science (3), and foreign language (2). Only grades in those core-curriculum subjects areas will count toward HOPE eligibility.
