The following awards were presented at the Middle School honors program Monday, May 22:
James Ross McCain Award (outstanding leadership ability in all areas of school life): Ben Bevill, Ellen Collier, Laura Bennett
M. Hugh Merson Memorial Award (pursuit of excellence in all areas of school life): Parrish Owens, Stephanie Hom
Robert Walther Jr. Award (eighth-grader exhibiting respect for fellow students and unselfish service to the school): Benji White, Megan Boling
Raymond Nora Memorial Award (football player who best exemplifies leadership, spirit, and cooperation): Will Foss
Parent Association Student awards: eighth grade: Jon Chumbler, Miyuki Hirashima; seventh grade: Kyndall McKemie, William Richardson; sixth grade: Meredith Hom, Tristan Griffin
John W. Maddox Award (best all-around athletes): Chantz McClinic, Jenny Morris
