Middle School teacher visits Lower School

James Hutchins, Middle School seventh and eighth-grade science teacher, visited the fourth grade science classes to talk with the students about vertebrate animals, in January. He brought his pet ferret, Daisy. “The students truly enjoy learning from guests and a Middle School teacher with a pet is an extra plus,” Lola Bradshaw, Lower School teacher, said. Hutchins described amphibians, using the frog as an example. He dissected a frog for the class as part of his presentation.
