Middle School Star Roper Leads Team to Finals

Eighth-grader Corey Roper led the Middle School boys basketball team through an incredible win. In the semi-finals against Trion, Roper hit a final minute shot to win the game. In the finals against Pepperell, he had the same opportunity, hoisting a 10-footer that nearly made the hoop. Despite the disappointing loss, the Tigers’ season was one of the best in memory, with the team compiling an 11–4 record and achieving some stunning come-from-behind victories, particularly against Trion.
