Middle School has costume contest

Middle School students came to school Oct. 31 in their most creative outfits, hoping to be named a winner in the annual Halloween Parade. Individual and group winners were selected by grade-level.
In eighth grade, the group award went to Luke Maffett and Oren Wilson, who dressed as the "Rolling Stones." Jonathan Tierney won the individual prize for his vending machine costume.
In seventh grade, two group awards were given. The first went to Asa Crawford, Sam Talley and Jason Mauer, who dressed as the Publisher's Clearing House Prize Patrol. The second went to Bailey Brock, Allie Duckworth, Sydney Greene, Allie Hurley, Heather Peace, Marchant Starr, Alea Vick and Caroline Walker, who dressed as the Seven Dwarfs.
In sixth grade, the group award went to Maggie Beth Atha, Sarah Cait Hubbard, Anna Riley and Elizabeth Wilhoite, who dressed as the Funky Weather Girls. The individual winner was Logan Griffiths dressed as Mr. Peanut.
The overall award for "Most Creative" went to Megan Healy, Madeline Gaffney, Remy Jennings and Mary Lyn Stegall, who dressed as a fish aquarium.
